Environmental policy
We take responsibility for the environment at Oriola, and environmental work is a natural, in-built part of our operation. We have been certified according to ISO 14001 since 1999, and work continually to protect the environment and preserve natural resources.
Our environmental work is marked by consideration for people's health and the needs of future generations.
In our work for sustainable development, we strive to conserve energy, sort waste and choose the means of transport with the least environmental impact.
Each employee is responsible for ensuring that their work causes as little environmental impact as possible, without having a negative effect on product quality or safety. All personnel shall receive the training and information needed to apply this policy.
We apply legislation and other requirements that allow us to develop activities in a manner that reduces our total environmental impact and prevents pollution.
Through risk processing and annual inventories of the activities that cause environmental impact, we identify and form a basis for the areas on which to focus. These focal areas then form the basis of the environmental goals. Our work methods shall reduce the risk of environmental incidents and accidents.
